What is the procedure to take patents in India?

You need to consult Patent Attorney to get Patent Registration.

Here are the steps for Patent Registration in India : -

• Drafting of Invention means you have to write down your Invention procedure, Specifications, Its Uses, Pros and cons, merits, demerits, in maximum detail as much as possible better use of Diagrams, drawings.

• Patent Filing with the Expert advice from Patent Attorney with the Provisional specification, It must be completed Under Patent Act of India.

• Note that, Filing must be completed within 12 months with full details of that Patent subject in your case it is Hardware, with a brief specifications.

• The Patent will Get Examined by Patent Office Attorney, at Patent Office, if no objection is grated then you will be granted Patent.

• Advertised of Patent within 4–5 Months prior to the request from Patent Office.
